- What sorts of businesses join a Chamber of Commerce?
- Any business regardless of its age, size or sector can join our Chamber and beneift from the opportunities provided.
- How long does membership last?
- Membership will be due for renewal 1 year from the month of your joining. You are only tied into membership for a year at a time.
- What area do you cover?
- Our catchment area is the former county of Gwent, so we cover the Unitary Authorities of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen. If your business is not within these areas but you would like to promote your business to companies within this region, membership is for you.
- I am only a small business - can I afford to join?
- Joining will give you discounts on various services designed to help benefit your business and offer real savings. Sloe traders and businesses within their first 12 months of trading receive special subscription rates.
- How much business can I gain from becoming a member?
- That depends on how proactive you and your business are. Networking is a strong and valuable business tool and the more you market yourself, the more opportunity you will have to gain business. Remember - member is a two way arrangement...we can provide the opportunites but its down to you to take advantage of them.
